Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Microneedling Back Facial.

Microneedling creates tiny microchannels that trigger the skin's repair response while the back facial deeply cleans and extracts. Together they promote collagen remodeling, soften scar tissue, and improve texture over several sessions for gradual, noticeable reduction.

Most clients report mild to moderate discomfort, often described as prickling or tingling. We apply topical numbing for comfort, and technicians adjust depth to tolerance. Pain is temporary, subsiding after treatment with minimal downtime.

Treatment plans vary, but most clients benefit from three to six sessions spaced four to six weeks apart. Severity of scarring and skin response determine frequency; our esthetician customizes a plan and tracks progress throughout.

Expect redness and sensitivity for one to three days, with possible mild peeling. Avoid heavy sweating, sun exposure, and irritating products for about one week. Skin continues remodeling for months, with gradual improvement.

If you have active cystic or infected acne, we usually delay treatment until cleared. For mild inflammatory or comedonal acne, we can often treat with modification. A consultation determines candidacy and whether pre-treatment is needed.

Before treatment avoid retinoids, harsh exfoliants, and excessive sun for at least one week. After, use gentle cleansers, hydrating serums, and mineral sunscreen. Avoid strenuous exercise, hot tubs, and tanning for forty-eight to seventy-two hours to ensure proper healing.
