Most clients experience redness and mild swelling for 24-72 hours, with gradual peeling or flaking over a week. Full surface healing and collagen remodeling continue for weeks, while visible improvement appears over 4-12 weeks after initial sessions.

We apply a topical numbing cream before treatment, making discomfort minimal. Most clients feel mild pressure or tingling during the 30-60 minute procedure. Communicate any sensitivity and we’ll adjust settings to keep you comfortable throughout the session.

Typical plans call for three to six sessions spaced four to six weeks apart, tailored to skin condition and goals. Maintenance treatments once or twice a year help preserve collagen production and the improvements achieved from the initial series.

Not suitable for those with active acne or skin infections, a history of keloid scarring, recent isotretinoin use, uncontrolled diabetes, or on certain blood thinners. A consultation and medical history review determine candidacy and safe alternatives.

Expect redness, mild swelling, and pinpoint bleeding that usually subsides within 24-72 hours. Skin may feel warm and tight; avoid makeup for at least 24 hours. Use gentle skincare and strict sun protection while the skin completes initial healing.

Avoid retinoids, chemical peels, aggressive exfoliation, and tanning for one week prior. Discontinue blood-thinning supplements if medically safe and inform us of medications. Arrive with clean skin; we’ll review history and create a customized plan.
