Some discomfort is normal, but pain is brief. Our estheticians use gentle wax and techniques to reduce sensitivity. We can test a small area first and apply numbing or calming products if needed to improve comfort.

Avoid moisturizers or heavy creams on the service day. Hair should be about one quarter inch long. Exfoliate gently 48 hours prior and avoid sun exposure or retinoids for several days. Arrive with a clean, makeup-free chin.

Most clients return every three to six weeks depending on hair growth and hormonal factors. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and make hair finer. During consultation we'll recommend a personalized schedule based on your growth pattern.

Waxing can sometimes cause ingrown hairs, especially if hair is coarse. We recommend gentle exfoliation after two days, topical soothing products, and avoiding picking. For persistent issues we offer targeted treatments and professional advice.

Generally chin waxing is safe, but hormonal changes and pregnancy can increase sensitivity and skin reactions. Avoid waxing during the first trimester if advised by your doctor. Tell your esthetician about pregnancy or medications for proper adjustments.

Keep the area clean and avoid heat, saunas, and heavy sweating for 24 to 48 hours. Apply soothing gels or aloe, avoid exfoliating for two days, and use non-comedogenic moisturizers. If irritation persists, contact us for advice.
