Get answers to common questions about Half Legs.

Most clients enjoy smooth, hair-free legs for three to six weeks. Results vary by individual growth cycles, hormones, and skin type. Regular appointments can extend time between visits as hair becomes finer.

Gently exfoliate a day or two before and ensure hair is about 1/4 inch long. Avoid heavy creams, recent sunburns, or retinoids for 48 hours. Arrive clean and dry for best results.

Sensation varies, but most people find discomfort brief and manageable. Pain lessens with regular waxing. Consider avoiding caffeine, taking an over-the-counter pain reliever beforehand, and communicating with your esthetician.

Optimal hair length is about 1/4 inch (roughly two weeks of growth). Hair that's too short won't adhere, while very long hair may be gently trimmed for a more comfortable wax.
