Ideally hair should be about 1/4 inch (6–8 mm), or roughly two to three weeks’ growth after shaving. This length allows the wax to grip hair properly; if unsure, your technician will advise at arrival.

Waxing itself does not typically darken skin; temporary redness may occur. Repeated irritation can affect pigment, so we offer underarm brightening treatments to even tone and reduce discoloration when needed.

Most clients report brief discomfort during removal, with pain decreasing over successive sessions. The procedure takes only minutes; results typically last three to six weeks depending on hair growth and individual cycles.

Avoid shaving between waxes, as it defeats waxing benefits. If you accidentally shave, wait until hair regrows to about 1/4 inch before your appointment. Gentle exfoliation helps prevent ingrown hairs between sessions.

Arrive with clean, deodorant-free underarms. Exfoliate gently 24–48 hours before, and avoid self-tanners, retinoids, or strong acids for several days prior. Inform your technician of medications or sensitivities.

Wait at least a few hours before applying deodorant, preferably 24 hours for sticks or fragranced products. Avoid vigorous exercise and heavy sweating for 24 hours to reduce irritation and infection risk.
